Kid Whisperer University

July 29-31, 2019

KWU is an Ohio Approved Training!

“Teachers from Fairbrook Elementary attended Kid Whisperer University in August 2017. They returned to school with new “tools” for classroom management. Utilizing empathy, logical consequences, and delayed consequences, in addition to several other learned strategies, teachers feel that they have more control in their classrooms and are managing behaviors more efficiently so that instruction is priority! In addition, our office referrals have declined considerably and teachers are able to keep, what would otherwise be very disruptive students, in their classrooms and thereby, maximize learning for all of our students.” -Joell Mangan, Principal   Fairbrook Elementary, Beavercreek, Ohio

The skills that I learned from Scott empowered me. He gave me confidence, answers, and a way of life in my classroom that increased everyone’s happiness and safety tenfold. Not only that, but I got to teach and my students got to learn! My students improved their math scores and their reading scores. They created projects and wrote letters. Kids who were flipping desks, throwing chairs, scratching teachers, flipping off peers, and being defiant and unpleasant were excelling socially and academically. I was no longer anxious about going to school, and neither were they! Their lives and mine changed in less than a month thanks to Scott and the Love and Logic skills that he teaches at Kid Whisperer University.” -Beth Perry, Lebanon, Ohio

Are you a parent, grandparent, teacher, principal, bus driver, cafeteria worker, daycare supervisor, after-school program director, babysitter, or coach? In other words, do you deal with kids (even big ones!) in any way, shape, or form? If so, and if you would like to improve your behavior management skills while strengthening your relationship with the children in your care, make plans to attend the Kid Whisperer University Summer Conference!

Join us in Fairborn, Ohio for an intensive 3-day workshop July 29-31, 2019. Scott Ervin, The Kid Whisperer, will teach you The Nine Essential Skills for the Love and Logic Classroom™ including how to neutralize argument, delay consequences, utilize empathy, utilize the recovery process, build positive relationships, utilize choices to prevent power struggles, utilize enforceable statements, utilize quick and easy interventions, and guide kids to own and solve their own problems. These strategies are immediate, simple, and get results.

Use of these skills at home will allow parents and caregivers to improve and repair relationships with their children and regain control of their house and their sanity. Use of these skills in the classroom will allow teachers to have more energy, more time to deliver quality instruction, and will ensure a calm, respectful classroom environment. This, in turn, will raise test scores, increase positivity in the classroom, and improve students’ self-esteem and problem-solving skills. Attending this conference will allow both new and experienced educators to start the school year with the confidence and skills necessary to ensure a successful learning environment for all students.
