Scott Ervin, The Kid Whisperer

I have been a teacher, principal, superintendent, discipline specialist, and behavioral consultant for the past 17 years. I can turn your school or home into a positive, low-stress place that creates functional human beings who will make their school and our world better instead of worse. I primarily offer in-depth consultation services for schools during which I analyze the school’s procedures and environment. I then work directly with principals and teachers, arming them with the skills and procedures needed to take control of their classroom/school and create a more positive environment. In addition, I offer live workshops for anyone in any situation who needs help working with children.


Most of my experience has been spent working with extremely difficult, at-risk, disturbed, abused, or neglected kids. While I have worked as a consultant with every kind of school, student, and educator, all of my experience as a full-time educator has been spent working with populations in extreme poverty. For the last 13 years, I have requested that all of the most difficult kids in my grade be placed in my room as a teacher and in my building as a principal and superintendent. For the last 5 years of my teaching career, I worked at the largest primary school in the United States and requested that all of the most difficult kids out of 400 students in my grade be placed on my class roster.
